Based since its earliest days in the heart of the Lyon conurbation,
the company has been able to keep pace with new markets through
its ability to innovate and invent.
Founded around 1920, Grangier at that time designed and manufactured accessories and equipment for the weaving industry and weaving looms.
As this market became more and more difficult, the company turned towards the manufacture of tooling and in 1970 developed the first Coup’Din
(a shearing machine for cutting and drilling DIN rails), which was to be
a milestone for a number of industrial electricity workshops.
So for more than 30 years, Grangier has been specialised in the design
and construction of shearing machines, punching machines
and tooling for panel builders and electrical construction workshops.
Grangier S.A.S. has always been quick off the mark to offer
innovatory products, constantly adapted to the needs of its customers.
